Mini Map

I am in the process of making a card (Not finished) but I just had to share the little map with you. I had this wonderful picture of an Old World map that I have wanted to use on a card. I loved the map so well that I decided to scan it and keep a copy for future use. After I scanned it and printed it, I decided to use the copy since it was smaller and fit the card size better. I cut it out and folded it several times - always making sure the folds were up. I also roughed up the edges with the side of the scissor blade. Then I sanded it lightly and applied a caramel ink directly to it. I loved the effect!
